HYC Update

Well, I started week 2 of the Hundred Pushup Challenge. I don’t look forward to push ups, but I would like to be stronger.

My happy news is that I lost more than 2 pounds this last week. Hooray! My weight usually goes down and up and down and up, and I was a little frustrated because it was going up a little… then for the last few days it has shot down! Writing down everything that I eat really works for me. I like how my Wii Fit measures to the tenth of a pound as well. I’ll take any little tenth that I can get!
I’ve been watching the Olympics and all the amazing accomplishments that the athletes are making… they work really hard to get to the condition that they are in. Sometimes it seems that losing all this weight is an Olympian accomplishment. I know that there are people with farther than I have to go though, and really, my goal is an ideal that I picture in my mind, but I know that even halfway to my goal I’ll be wearing smaller sizes and I’ll look better. Even so, if the Olympic athletes can dedicate several hours a day to their accomplishment, I can do this!
I wore a pair of pants yesterday that I’ve recently purchased, and I noticed that all day I kept having to pull them up. I can take them off without even unbuttoning them. Maybe I’ll have to find a belt or something.

You’ll definitely have to buy a belt to keep the pants up! Congratulations on that! (Even tho it’s a pain to keep hitching up your pants, doesn’t it feel GOOD?!) And — I so want a Wii Fit. I put it down as a reward when I hit 50 pounds gone.

Thanks! Hope it’s not too long until you can get your Wii Fit. They’re still hard to find, I’m lucky that my husband’s stepfather works at Wal-Mart and could get one for us.

Now there is nothing cooler than having to keep tugging your pants up all day! Good for you!
