title pic Perhaps This Is Why Our Country Is Going Down The Tubes?

Other countries are being affected by this as well, and this may be a factor for them too.

The education system for quite some time has been an example of something that has not lived up to it’s potential. A look at past tests for 8th grade graduates from the late 1800s would put most high school seniors to shame. I wrote this post about 11 months ago about the sad state of math teaching and about the Everyday Mathematics book being used in some school systems… these math programs teach children to rely on calculators, don’t teach them traditional multiplication and division algorithms, and encourage children to “come up with their own strategies” for solving mathematics problems. I don’t really have a problem with kids coming up with their own strategies for solving mathematics problems… if they already understand how to do it the traditional way… but I don’t think 7 year olds are really capable of teaching themselves math on their own.

While watching this video, I thought about the abundance of home foreclosures. Could this have anything to do with Agenda 21? If the government wants everyone to move to sky-rise apartments, they’ll have to get them there somehow.

What about the fact that on so many points, the government officials won’t listen to us? Illegal immigration is a perfect example, although Arizona did a wonderful thing by passing a law to revoke business licenses of people that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. Why is it that the Mexican military can cross over to our side of the border, point guns at our border patrol agents, and the United States does nothing about it. Ordinary US citizens are being kidnapped, taken across the border, and held for ransom, and we’re just okay with it? Where is the outrage?

What about how people are vehemently against any sort of energy policy? Why was it, a few weeks ago, that the Democrats were so hell-bent on going on their vacation before voting on the energy bill that was ready for a vote? And don’t even think that wind, solar, nuclear, or any other form of energy will be the answer… they’re not going to want the transmission lines because they might interfere with wildlife, or the windmills might adversely affect birds, or something along those lines. More energy for the nation goes against the goals of Agenda21.

I’m not sure if or what we can do about it, but be aware.
