Chinese Poison Reaches Cadbury Chocolates

I’m not sure if you’ve been keeping up with the news, but recently, quite a few babies in China were getting sick or dying because the food processors there had been watering down their milk with melamine, a chemical that is cheaper than milk, but will have the same protein properties as milk, and therefore is not very detectable. These babies were getting kidney stones.
A few days ago, I saw that the Chinese poison had reached some other products that were being sold in Asia, like Hong Kong.
Today, I heard that Cadbury was recalling some of it’s products that were processed in China. These include 11 products. The chocolate is primarily being distributed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia. I haven’t seen anything yet about Cadbury chocolates sold in America.
Almost makes you want to grow all your own food. At least you would know it was safe.
I know a lot of people that want China-free products. I’d prefer it. Even my daughter seems to be disgusted by it all, and she’s six. She looks at her toys and notices a little mark saying “Made in China” and points it out to me in a sort of roll-your-eyes type of tone.
Christmas is coming, and I think that if I have a choice, I’d take a not-made-in-China toy over ones made in China. Not sure how to pull that one off though. If they poison their own food supply, what do you expect they do with toys they ship to foreigners?
