RIP Ted Kennedy

Ted Kennedy, a Senator since 1962 (wow, my parents were still in school then) died last night, at the age of 77. While I didn’t agree with his policies most of the time, he was the third longest serving senator in history.

He was the youngest brother of John F. and Robert Kennedy, who were both assassinated in the 60s (wow, it’s really hard to think that JFK would be that old if he was still alive today). Despite his faults and his past mistakes, he served his country for many years, and even spent time in the US Army.

The Kennedy family is quite large, and I’m sure that there are many mourning individuals today.
