Iran Set to Appoint Jew-Killer as Defense Secretary

A couple of days ago, I wrote about how our national debt, oil, and Israel attacking Iran might be our downfall. The national news hasn’t been covering Israel and Iran much lately, as our domestic problems, H1N1, and health care are taking center stage. Fortunately, Google allows us to search for developments in any topic that we’re interested in.
Today’s Guardian reports that General Ahmad Vahidi, who was the mastermind behind the bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires in 1994, is about to be confirmed as the defense secretary of Iran.
As he addressed parliament yesterday, deputies chanted “death to Israel.” Although Vahidi is wanted by Interpol, nobody opposed his appointment.
The Guardian did not report Israel’s reaction, although Argentina was not happy. Israel is unlikely to be very happy with this appointment either. Watch for further developments, as what happens in the Middle East is unlikely to stay in the Middle East.
