2010 HAPPY NEW YEAR! by gravityx9

Wow, this year has gone by fast! So many changes have occurred this year… this was my first year as a freelance writer, and the first year that I was ever hired to write for anybody. It’s been a year of ups and downs… my employer gave me almost no work in September and October, so I had plenty of time to focus on my freelance work, now they’re giving me so much work that I’m almost swamped! 3 AM writing sessions are not uncommon around here right now, they’re giving us so much to do.

While technically the new decade doesn’t start for another year, popular culture tends to remember the previous decade when the ten’s digit flips over. I can’t believe it’s time to look back on another decade! What a decade it was! Personally, I started out the decade as a Naval Officer and no kids, I ended the decade with two great kids and a work-at-home job writing. So many things have happened that changed the world: September 11th, Hurricane Katrina, the global recession.
