title pic Israel and the “Peace Flotilla”

I need to say something about the “Peace Flotilla” and Israel. If you watch the above video, you can clearly see that the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) was being attacked with pipes by members of the “Peace Flotilla.” Israel was not the aggressor, although the news media would like to say so.

It feels like we are entering the 1940s all over again. The world is against the Jewish people. They are seen as the enemy all over Europe, and among many in the mainstream media. Well, I know the history of the 1940s, and I can’t remain silent. I don’t care what the cost is.

In Genesis 12, Abram is told to leave his country, and God gave him a promise: “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.” That promise was passed down through Abram, later Abraham, to the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.

The world is on track to repeat history. People didn’t wake up one day and throw the Jews into ovens… that took time. It started out with anti-Jewish propaganda just like what we are seeing today. It ended badly.

I can’t stand by without expressing my disagreement about what’s going on. It doesn’t matter what everyone else does, I will not turn my back on Israel, no matter what it costs. Even if that means that I will one day be gassed as well. I know where I’m going at the end of my earthly life. Nobody can take away my heavenly home. I will stand with God’s people.

I joined the Navy in 1993. Going in, I thought about how the military fought against Hitler and the Holocaust. I knew about Genesis 12:3 back then; at the time, I never thought that there would ever come a point where the US would turn its back on Israel. Over the 10 years I spent in the Navy, that perception changed. I had to tell myself that no matter what happened, I would never let myself harm Israel.

The “Peace Flotilla” isn’t peaceful; they have known terrorist ties.
