Getting Ideas for Articles and Web Pages

I have a friend who is just starting to make Squidoo pages. She asked me how I came up with ideas for my pages. Here’s one of the ways that I come up with Squidoo pages; I suppose the same source could be used for article ideas. Even better, make a page and an article.

Today I received an email from Zazzle. It had a link to the Zazzle blog, suggesting that people consider making political Zazzle products in order to boost sales. I’m not in a Zazzle creating mood right now, but on the blog they had ideas on some hot elections right now, including Jimmy McMillan and his Rent is 2 Damn High Party.

Rent is Too Damn High

I had heard of Jimmy McMillan and his Rent is 2 Damn High party the day before, and thought that he was pretty funny. So I figured, if Zazzle is suggesting that people make shirts about him, then there must be a market for his products right now. So I created a page on The Rent is Too Damn High on Squidoo.

Now, this probably is not going to be an evergreen lens, but it’s already getting some hits, and it may produce some Zazzle sales. Plus it was fun to make.
