Does Today’s Quake Scream “The End is Near?”
Posted by Lorren on March 11, 2011
Today’s 8.9 quake is surprising. Some people see today’s quake as a sign that the end is near. Is that the truth? We can’t take one earthquake, no matter what the size, and proclaim that life as we know it is about to end.
I have been watching earthquakes and prophecy for more than a year now. Yes, earthquakes are up, and have been since 2009. However, one earthquake does not mean that the end is just around the corner.
Could the end be near? Perhaps. However, there have been bigger, and deadlier, quakes throughout history. It’s important to remember that.
It’s also important to remember that there will be people left behind after the Rapture occurs. I know that a lot of Christians are excited to see Jesus, but I think that it’s more important to keep praying for those who do not know the Lord and would be left behind if the Lord came back today. I know people that I don’t want to see left behind. How about you?

All the talk about the latest big earthquakes, 2012 looming up on us and the end of the world is all most likely a bunch of garbage, well as least I hope so!
You can’t help but wonder if the huge earthquakes that are being experiences around the world, the volcanic eruptions, changing weather patterns etc all mean something, or is the earth just going through another cycle.
Let us not forget that about every 20,000 years (as far as scientists can tell) the earth does seem to go through a cycle of change. While 20,000 years to us is a long time, to our planet it’s nothing.
There is also evidence in ancient writings, from Sumeria etc (see Zecharia Sitchin) that the earth was populated by people from another planet from a period 500,000 years ago to Biblical times. If true, these Anunaki were the “Gods of Old”, of Sumeria, Egypt, and later Greece and Rome, who created manking in their image, and on whom our religions are mostly based.
Now if this is also true, and the prophecies of the Maya and other ancient peoples are based on advanced knowledge of the past, should we be even more concerned.
