Chaos

The world is on fire.

The fire has probably been building for some time, as a hot coal. Shortly after I started taking this writing thing seriously, I wrote a news report about Iceland’s economic troubles. Greece was then the hotbed of social unrest, but Italy, Portugal, and Spain were having their own problems too. Then the Middle East caught fire as well. It will come to the United States.

The Bible does say that in the last days, perilous times shall come. It’s going to be tough. But for people like myself, who have been saying that the Lord is going to return any time now, it’s not a surprise. I don’t know if I’ve said it here before, but I have mentioned in one place that Ethiopia is also bound to join in the unrest, even though it hasn’t yet. The Bible says they will.

While the times are shocking, there’s no reason to be truly afraid if you have been saved by Jesus. We win in the end. While we may go through some difficult times and heartbreak, it’s only temporary.

Chaos is all around us, and I think that it will only get worse. But it will eventually be okay for Christians. Anybody else is welcome to join us.
