2012 Political Season Taking OffPosted by Lorren on May 4, 2011
The first Republican debate is tomorrow. While there are some boring candidates, a couple of new faces should make it interesting.
Obama: “Let’s Bankrupt The Coal Industry!”Posted by Lorren on November 2, 2008
Earlier this year, Barack Obama was interviewed by the San Francisco Chronicle, saying that the cap and trade restrictions that he wanted to pass would probably bankrupt the coal industry. Here is a link to my source.
With our economy being the way it is, we don’t purposely need to bankrupt an industry on purpose.
While [...]
The Government that God WantsPosted by Lorren on October 28, 2008
This election season is pretty hotly contested. A lot of people (on both sides of the political spectrum) are afraid of the outcome. I’m pretty concerned myself.
Today I was reading about the political conditions of Jesus’s day. The ancient Israelites were in a country ruled by pagan Romans. The Jewish people [...]
If It’s Close, Get Ready For A Long Court Battle…Posted by Lorren on October 27, 2008
Most people will say that it looks like Obama is ahead. Could be, but we also have the Bradley effect that is not taken into account in the polls. Nobody knows how high that will be.

Thought Police Visit Obama CriticPosted by Lorren on October 23, 2008
‘Tis the time for campaign phone calls… be careful what you say, at least if you get called up by the Obama campaign. One lady called Barack Obama a socialist and criticized him for locking up babies in closets to die… and the Secret Service arrived on her doorstep accusing her of sending a [...]

I was reading some comments on a web site about Joe the Plumber, and I was concerned… it said something like “if those plumbers don’t make $250,000, they should vote for Obama.”
Since when is voting all about what we can get now? Shouldn’t we be voting for the greater good?
There’s a lot more at [...]
The Presidential Race, Economics, and DependencyPosted by Lorren on October 16, 2008
There’s a big difference in the economic policies of the two presidential candidates. Obama wants to help the “middle class”, McCain wants to help the businesses, who in turn can help the middle class. Joe the Plumber, I guess, fits into the category of “upper class”, because he’s one of the people that [...]
Комрадс! The Messiah Cometh!Posted by Lorren on October 9, 2008
Just thought I’d have a little fun with HTML here. Now, I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, only son of the one true God, but the way that some people seem to worship Barak Obama make me a little nervous. I’m afraid that one day we might be asked to [...]
