Arizona is considering allowing high schoolers to take a test and graduate after their sophomore year. Is that the answer?

I finally got around to purchasing the last of my daughter’s school books for this year. I spent around $260, and tomorrow I’ll be ordering another $30 of books for my toddler’s preschool year. This is in addition to the approximately $50 or so I spent on school and office supplies for the [...]

I love the book of Daniel. It’s got some great prophecy in it regarding the last days… a lot of what seems to be coming true now. It seems that God sent Daniel to live among the Gentiles, and he ended up writing many of the prophecies for the Gentiles.
But I noticed something [...]

Now’s the time of year again…

My daughter [...]

An internet friend of mine who had previously been homeschooling her 9 year old decided to send her child back to public school, at least for a semester. On the message boards she remarked that her daughter hated her new public school math class, and had even cried during math. She was using [...]

I was listening to Way of the Master Radio and heard a REALLY interesting tidbit. You know how Osama Bin Laden died his beard black? Well, Islam forbids someone to dye their hair unless they are going on jihad!
Maybe he just wants us to think that he’s doing something. I hope so. [...]

I’ve been noticing a trend for the last couple of years. I never really followed it before I started homeschooling my daughter, but it is truly amazing how much it costs to send children to the supposedly “free” public schools. While I may think that it costs a lot of money to homeschool [...]

What grade is your child in?
For most American families, there is an easy answer for this question. Their kids get up every day, get on the bus, and the school tells them what grade they are in. It’s something along the lines of Kindergarten, first, second, and so on, all the way up [...]
